To Shine with His Reign

It had just rained,
The shower had moved past;
It left a remnant,
Of sparkling dew in its path.
There were rays,
Rising upward,
And outward amidst the clouds.
The sun shone so brightly,
On everything, to abound.
It was like holy splendor,
Being splashed here and there.
It was like the glory of heaven,
Upon the earth to be found.
I stood amazed,
At this God of majesty.
I knelt to behold this Lord,
Of authority.
For in the shadow,
In the breathtaking dawn,
He is present, reigning,
In the heart, that He shines upon.
One spot of radiance, swept upward to create these softly flowing rays. The same sphere that shone from the sky, lit the dew to display Your glory, God. And it was the image to my soul, of Your Spirit at work. It was like a painting come to life, of how You move through our shadows, how You reign, to bring beauty from everything that touches us.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1 ESV
Let the light of God enfold your heart. For as it does, your triumphs will look like rays of His faithfulness and your tears will look like diamonds. The heart that holds Jesus, purely shines, with His reign.
