Prayer, the Greatest Gift

The greatest gift you can give (a child),

Is your hands joined together in prayer.

It joins and binds, connects, and empowers.

It conveys the sense of protection,

Of communion,

And of harmony in the home.

Two heads bowed together, and on their knees before the Heavenly Father, is a gift (to children), and a memory that is forever etched upon their hearts.

Parents never stop praying for their children. Every age, every stage, is blessed by this gift of love. This sacrifice of time, is the greatest investment you will ever make.

Parents, say a prayer for your children.

Children, parents need our prayers, too.

Give the gift that costs you nothing,

But invests everything!

We all need prayer--our spouses, our family, friends, our neighbors, co-workers, our church family, and our nation. No one is exempt; anyone can be blessed!

…”I pray that God will be kind to you and will bless you with peace! We thank God for you and always mention you in our prayers. Each time we pray, we tell God our Father about your faith and loving work and about your firm hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3

One moment on our knees joins hearts and hands;

And brings God’s presence, peace, and blessing!
