"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” Psalm 32:8 ESV
We had taken a country road to get to this vista.
From the lookout, we saw this bridge which is a passageway for cars and trucks.
The bridge was built over the Mississippi River.
And under the bridge, travel boats for leisure and commerce.
In the foreground runs a railroad track.
My point? There are many forms of transportation that will crisscross in this area.
What is the “Spiritual analogy?”
No matter how or where we travel,
No matter where our journey takes us,
Or where following God’s Will leads us …
He is the Source of our guidance,
And our Protector for safe passage,
On earth and into eternity.
“Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” Genesis 28:15 NKJV
Dear Lord, thank You for scenes like this which encourage us to take in Your beauty. Thank You for leading our lives—in all ways, at all times. Help us to follow You completely in our day-to-day work-life, travels, and serving, so that it’s clear that we’re following Your Will, we pray. Amen.
“Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.” Psalm 25:4 ESV
