God will meet all your Needs!

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NIV

Dear Lord, this is a beautiful promise to my soul; You will meet my needs. You know everything about me—my heart’s desires, my hopes, my goals, the gifts that You have given me to use for Your glory, my concerns, the things that inspire me, and the things that discourage me. You made me unique and gave me opportunities that You had ordained before time began.

You meet my needs out of the riches—the abundance, perfect inventory, holy, gracious, merciful, eternal loving-kindness—that comes from the glory of Who You are. I am humbled that You care for me like this and pay close attention to me. So how can I do anything but give you my adoration and obedience? Amen.

God’s riches toward us are eternally-minded. They flow from His never-ending sovereignty as an unending stream of His goodness. Therefore, we can trust that He will meet our every need because He will meet us right where we are to provide—Himself, His guidance by His Word, His Spirit’s intercession, or His angel’s protection.
