The initial touches of Autumn have begun to brush the leaves. In the background, amidst the setting of evergreens, they lit the landscape with their golden, tangerine, and chartreuse hues. It’s always lovely to see the first hints of their changing. Yet in the foreground, wildflowers, give their final burst of bloom—before the winds of cold begin to settle o’er the land.

In each season, God displays new colors like an artist adding paints to a canvas. Each week will bring new offerings for us to discover His majesty. And they will also bring us fresh opportunities to offer Him glory. For as the trees unfurl their jewel-like tones and the orchards begin to yield their harvests—it is as if God shows off—just a smidgen of His power to those who are watching and waiting and anticipating … every wonderful, spectacular, miracle that He performs … everyday.

“Let the heavens be glad, the earth rejoice; let the vastness of the roaring seas demonstrate his glory. Praise him for the growing fields, for they display his greatness. Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise.” Psalm 96:11-12 TLB
