Creation's Love

Weekly Inspiration for 9 - 15 July 2022

Earth and sky,

Mountain and foaming sea,

Seem to touch upon the horizon,

In a dance of creation’s majesty.

Blues and greens all blend together,

Like a grand painting to behold,

One stroke of the Master’s fingers,

And the story of the world is told.

Billowy clouds like rolling thunder,

Crown the mountain peak,

As if they too, speak to the Father,

And His holy presence, seek.

“Your love O Lord, reaches to the heavens,

Your faithfulness to the skies.

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,

Your justice like the great deep…

How priceless is your unfailing love!”

Psalms 36:5

With all that I am I praise you,

Maker of heaven and of earth,

For in the mountain, sea, sky, and creation,

Nothing can fully proclaim Your worth.

Your love is more beautiful,

Than anything I could ever know,

As I bow before you,

I pray this love, will grow.

Use me, make me, mold me,

May I reflect the image of Your grace.

For in the beauty of creation,

I witness the Holiness of Your Face.
