Come into the Garden

Come into the garden,
Lose your worries and cares.
Find a moment of stillness,
—The essence of God’s presence—
In His wondrous creations.
Pause here,
Until your soul,
Longs to give Him praise.
For He will always,
Meet you there!
There is something about surrounding ourselves with God’s good earth and blooming things, that seems to center us. This simple stillness gives us time to breath. It opens our eyes and our lungs to the freshness of His miracles, those things that He’s fashioned, and His Spirit alive within us.
Lord, awaken my soul to the colors, the sounds, the beauty that fills a garden space. Whether I am in one of my own making or in a public space, grant me a few moments of meditating upon Your goodness, loving-kindness, and the fact that You often sought out places such as this to talk to the Father. May I do, likewise. Amen.
Let the sights and scents fill your imagination with the restoration of Eden, remade. For in eternity, there shall be a garden-paradise. And to walk and talk with Jesus there, will fill us with praise, always.
Here’s a little garden meditation: Genesis 1:11-12, Genesis 2:8 & 15, Matthew 26:36-46, Ecclesiastes 2:5, Revelation 22:1-3
